From Northern Utah and the Wasatch Front

There are two routes. The distance and time for both routes is about the same.

Nephi/Moroni Route
Go south on I-15 to the second Nephi exit (Exit 225). (Nephi is about 85 miles south of downtown Salt Lake City.) Signs show that the exit leads to Ephraim, Manti and State Road 132.

At the bottom of the exit turn left, heading east and follow State Road 132 about 25 miles, passing through Fountain Green and Moroni.

At the east end of Moroni, you will come to an intersection, with State Road 114 leading straight ahead toward Mt. Pleasant and State Road 132 veering right toward Ephraim and Snow College. Stay on State Road 132.

Continue on State Road 132 for about 5 miles, passing through Chester, until you reach U.S. 89.

Turn right on U.S. 89 and continue south for about 8 miles to the center of Ephraim. At the stoplight (100 North or College Avenue), turn left, heading east toward the festival entrance.

Total Distance from downtown Salt Lake City: 117 miles

Spanish Fork Canyon Route
Go south on I-15 to the second Spanish Fork exit (Exit 261). (Spanish Fork is about 50 miles south of downtown Salt Lake City). Signs show that the exit leads to U.S. 6 and Manti.

The Exit 261 ramp funnels you onto U.S. 6 heading east. Follow U.S. 6 about 15 miles to the turnoff for U.S. 89. Signs show that the turnoff is for U.S. 89 and Manti.

Turn right from U.S. 6 onto U.S. 89 heading south. Continue on U.S. 89 about 30 miles to Fairview. Remain on U.S. 89 through Fairview and Mt. Pleasant into Ephraim. (It’s about 21 miles from Fairview to Ephraim.) At the stoplight (100 North or College Avenue), turn left, heading east toward the festival entrance.

Total Distance from downtown Salt Lake City: 115 miles


 

From Eastern Utah and Price

From points east of Price, take U.S. 6 west into Price.

From Price, take State Road 10 (Carbon Avenue) to Huntington (about 21 miles).

At Huntington, head northwest on State Road 31 toward Fairview (about 47 miles).

State Road 31 intersects with U.S. 89 (also State Street in Fairview). Take U.S. 89 south through Fairview and Mt. Pleasant into Ephraim (about 21 miles). At the stoplight (100 North or College Avenue), turn left, heading east toward the festival entrance.

Total distance from Price: 90 miles


 

From Southern Utah, Cedar City and St. George

Take I-15 north toward Richfield. Merge onto I-70 (Exit 132). (From St. George to I-70 is about 125 miles.)

Take I-70 north and east about 55 miles to Exit 54 (Salina). (Be careful not to miss the Salina exit. It’s the last exit for more than 100 miles, other than Highway Patrol turnarounds.)

The Salina exit puts you onto U.S. 89 going north. Continue north on U.S. about 15 miles, passing through Axtell, Centerfield and Gunnison. At the north end of Gunnison is a junction, with State Road 28 toward Levan straight ahead and U.S. 89 veering right.

Veer right, remaining on U.S. 89, for about 15 until you reach Manti. From Manti, continue north on U.S. 89 for about 10 more miles into the center of Ephraim. At the stoplight (100 North or College Avenue), turn right heading east toward the festival entrance.

Total Distance from St. George: 220 miles

 


 

Directions To Spring City, Utah

Spring City is on U.S. 89, the main thoroughfare through Sanpete County, and is about 11 miles northeast of Ephraim.

From the Wasatch Front via the Nephi Route: Follow the directions above for reaching Ephraim. However, when you reach the junction of State Road 132 and U.S. 89, instead of turning right heading south toward Ephraim, turn left heading north. About 5 miles north of the junction, you’ll see a turnoff for State Road 117 and Spring City. Follow the road about one mile to Spring City’s Main Street.

From the Wasatch Front via the Spanish Fork Canyon Route: Go through Mt. Pleasant. At the south end of Mt. Pleasant, you’ll see a turnoff for State Road 117 leading southwest into Spring City. State Road 117 merges into Spring City’s Main Street.

From Price and eastern Utah: Follow the directions above to Fairview and from Fairview south to Mt. Pleasant. At the south end of Mt. Pleasant, you’ll see a turnoff for State Road 117 leading southwest into Spring City. State Road 117 merges into Spring City’s Main Street.

From Ephraim: Travel north out of Ephraim on U.S. 89, past Pigeon Hollow Junction (the junction of U.S. 89 and State Road 132), about 10 miles. You’ll see a turnoff for State Road 117 and Spring City. Follow State Road 117 about one mile to Spring City’s Main Street.
